Today I present you a new project: SpokenLink.com It is basically a “link shortener”. This page allows you to create “short”-links for other websites, similar to goo.gl or bit.ly. But while other services give you the shortest possible URL, spokenlink.com is eager to give you an easy to remember and easy to communicate link. An spokenlink.com-URL will consist of a set of color and pictogram combinations. These links are easy to communicate verbally and work in different languages (at the moment, German and English). This language-independecy makes it even possible to share a link using a picture and encoding it without knowing the right words. In addition it provides you with some basic stats how often your link was clicked. These stats can be private. You can also lock your link

Whenever I tried to get my location it crashed. Why? I don’t know. Maybe all I need to do is asking permission for LBS upfront… Who knows? I decided to not look into it. There are three reasons: It was a design study on how to create a responsive UI How to create an API Almost everything that this app can do is now integrated into Nokia Maps So looking back on MLaaL, it was an interesting project, but nothing I want to invest further time. I think most of you know about Nokia’s upcoming Symbian flagship, the 808 PureView. It is best known for its 41MP camera which should deliver unbeatable stills and videos. The camera is not the only good thing about the 808. For the first time since years, Nokia is offering a Symbian device no-holds-barred. HDMI-Out, 4″ CBD-screen, exchangeable battery, NFC, FM-transmitter, everything is there. For me the 808 will be enough for at least the next 18 months, which should be enough time for Nokia to come up with a new phone where I don’t have to loose features when I “upgrade”. So what does this device cost? Find out after the break! Here are the current (12.04.2012) pre-order prices. If you find other prices and

I know… these are no real apps and that you have to install them is only because Symbian doesn’t offer any other useful solution. But it is a nice comparison and good for my uber-ego I’m quite surprised about the success of AppMe. I promised that I would remove all advertisement as soon as I collect donation of 100€. I never reached my goal but decided to remove them after all. All AppMe-Widgets you install from now on will never show you any ad. For technical reasons you need to reinstall existing widgets. Use the Scout “appstore” to
